CD covers, inlays and stickers, DVD labels and slicks, video slicks
Professional printing of CDs and DVDs enhances the credibility of their content even before they've been played or accessed, but the cost of screen printing can be prohibitive for short runs. Printingonline.com.au can provide and apply full colour CD labels, tray inserts and cover booklets economically for even short runs of CDs, and also for DVD labels and slicks, and video slicks. We use and recommend purpose-cut label stock for the disks, and by printing tray, booklet or slicks at the same time colour matching can be assured for a quality result.
"Books" are jobs of more than 60 pages, and are either perfect bound or wiro bound. Whether you're a new self-publishing author or a seasoned professional Printonline.com.au can give you practical advice and assistance at every stage, and all at great rates too!
Books, whether colour or black and white generally have their text printed on a lighter weight of stock - often 80-90gsm uncoated stock. This both reduces bulk and materials cost per unit. A perfect bound book will usually have a 250 - 300 gsm cover. A wiro bound book may not have a heavy cover, but usually has a blank card back and a protective clear plastic cover on either the front or both front and back. It's not advisable for a designer to run pictures across the gutter (the area between left and right pages) in books bound like this - it rarely looks effective.
